I am a non-partisan, but I tend to rank in the Libertarian sector on political compass questionnaires, which I tend to agree with, which leads me to wonder: would most Americans actually be Libertarians if they understood what that means and if the two party system could be stopped, or even if the Libertarian party could get it together and actually get some publicity, organization or even a reasonable candidate? I think it's possible if not even probable that most "centrist" Americans are actually closet or uninformed Libertarians in training.

I sure have neglected my pub friends, I hope that the staff were friendly while I've been away on a "vacation" of sorts. Things have been pretty crazy, amazing and interesting. Now I'm just contemplating whether or not to attend my high school reunion. I'm not one of those folks that "peaked" in high school so I'm not really attached to the idea of it, but there will definitely be some amazing people there and some others that I'm not necessarily looking forward to running into...I have a decision to make here and I could simply not go and not care or challenge myself. Decisions, Decisions! Well I'm going to ponder this over a bourbon and cola, and then possibly a MERRY's Pearl Harbor Martini and come to a decision. Hope you enjoy your visit here and I raise my glass to you!

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children.
It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside, when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
